Meet Aaron
Aaron is an 18-year-old Eritrean-Ghanaian-American Olympian living in the United States and pursuing an Engineering degree at The Ohio State University on a full academic scholarship. Representing Eritrea, he competed in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the Doha 2024 World Aquatics Championships, showcasing his talent on the global stage. Aaron began swimming at the age of 2, and his dedication has led him to compete as a member of the Eritrean National Swim Team and The Ohio State University Club Team, excelling both in the pool and in the classroom as he pursues his passion for swimming and engineering.
Meet Christina
Christina is a 17-year-old Eritrean-German Olympian and high school student living in Dubai. She has proudly represented Eritrea on the international stage multiple times, including at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Doha 2024 World Aquatics Championships, the Budapest 2024 World Championships, and the Accra 2023 African Games. Christina is a dedicated athlete, balancing her studies while competing as a member of the Eritrean National Swim Team and training with Club Hamilton Aquatics.
Meet Hearmela
Hearmela is a 22-year-old Eritrean swimmer who was born and raised in Eritrea. A self-taught athlete, she learned to swim by watching YouTube videos and has since gone on to represent Eritrea on the international stage. Hearmela competed at the 2023 African Aquatics Championship and the Accra 2023 African Games, showcasing her remarkable talent and determination. She is currently pursuing her studies at the College of Eritrea while continuing to excel as a proud member of the Eritrean National Swim Team.
