About Us
The Red Sea Dolphins Swim Team represents a dream brought to life by Eritrean Olympic swimmers, Aaron Owusu and Christina Rach. Their shared vision stems from a passion for fostering aquatic excellence and accessibility to swimming in the region. Both Aaron and Christina, having competed on the world’s most prestigious stage, understand the profound impact that sports can have on individual growth, community engagement, and national pride.
Their goal with the Red Sea Dolphins is to cultivate a new generation of swimmers by combining their own Olympic experiences with cutting-edge training techniques, mentorship, and community outreach. The program is designed not only to identify and develop local talent but also to instill values such as discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
In addition to athletic development, the swim team focuses on raising awareness about water safety and promoting swimming as an essential life skill. Aaron and Christina aim to address a significant gap in aquatic education within Eritrea and surrounding regions, ensuring that access to training is inclusive and widely available to youth from all backgrounds.
Ultimately, the Red Sea Dolphins Swim Team serves as a beacon of hope and ambition, showcasing the transformative power of sports to unite communities, celebrate cultural identity, and inspire future Olympians.
